There are numerous charts and measures that tell you what the suggested weight should be for your height, gender, and age. Ignore all of those. Your Perfect Weight is about how you feel physically and emotionally. It is whatever you want it to be. It’s about how you interact with other people, what makes you feel great in your clothes, the right dress size for you, how much energy you need to get through your day, whether or not your knees hurt, or whether you are healthy. You may need to shed pounds or put them on. You may simply want to feel healthier, or be able to walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. You may just want to be able to zip up your pants without sucking in your stomach and then having it roll out over your waistline. Whatever it is for you – what it makes you feel confident, self-assured, sexy, healthy, strong, vibrant, and free – that is your Perfect Weight.
